OCIA program - If you are considering becoming Catholic, please join our OCIA (formerly RCIA) group. This is the process by which adults and children over the age of 7 are initiated into the Catholic Church in the sacraments of Baptism and/or Confirmation and First Holy Communion. St. Charles and St. Nicholas parishes offer OCIA classes together with independent study and two monthly in-person meetings (one held at St. Nicholas and one held at St. Charles). The 13th Special Collection for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis will be on Sat Nov 8th and Sun Nov 9th. This is for the Triennial Collection for the Archdiocese of the Military Services.

BLESSING FOR EXPECTING and ADOPTING PARENTS: Father Whittington would like to make this special Blessing more readily available to all.  IF you, a family member, friend or neighbor, OR you are a visitor, and, would like to receive this Blessing, PRIOR to the start of Mass, one person should go to the Sacristy, and notify the Sacristan of this request.  Prior to the Final Blessing, Father will invite the parent(s) to come forward to receive the Blessing.  Father will also present to them a keepsake prayer card, and medal from the St. Charles' Pro-Life Group!  Questions, contact Helen Wysong 812-623-7664.
